Very few restaurants in the United States charge for bread and butter, but at Razza Pizza Artigianale in Jersey City, which opened in 2012, the bread and butter costs four bucks.

Razza’s chef and co-owner Dan Richer has been called the “Jiro of breadmaking and butter,” a reference to the perfectionist Japanese sushi chef featured in the documentary film “Jiro Dreams of Sushi.”
